is it an IR? or done by other methods?

@Ali Baratian: No IR. I processed it with a bit of a heavy hand in Aperture, but that was it. Out of camera, the trees still had detail, but I pushed them to black for more drama in the ice and sky. Other than curves, I didn't even have to oversaturate, it really was that blue,
